EPL Returns After Two-Week Break
Worry not, football fans, for the English Premier League (EPL) will be returning after a two-week break this weekend in England, providing the perfect excuse to avoid awkward family obligations.
Chelsea have an opportunity to regain some of their dignity on Saturday, 30 March, as they take on Burnley at Stamford Bridge Stadium in London. Predictions favour the Blues, but as they are expected to be down by six players, Burnley may have more of a winning chance.
Nottingham Forest – who have just lodged an appeal against their four-point deduction for breaching EPL profit and sustainability rules – will be facing off against Crystal Palace later that same day at City Ground Stadium in Nottinghamshire. Odds favour the hosts.
Liverpool have been scheduled for a comparatively relaxed match as they host Brighton & Hove Albion at Anfield Stadium in Liverpool the following day. Pundits favour the hosts, but Brighton will undoubtedly be keen to put up a good fight.
Finally, the most exciting match of the weekend is expected to be Manchester City and Arsenal going head-to-head at Etihad Stadium in Manchester. With the Gunners at the top of the EPL table with 64 points, the Citizens will undoubtedly be eager to rise from third place with 63 points.
